We recently completed a stunning bathroom renovation in Applecross, focusing on both the main bathroom and ensuite. Our design approach prioritised both functionality and modern aesthetics, resulting in spaces that are not only visually appealing but also highly practical for everyday use.
Main Bathroom
In the main bathroom, we installed a doorless shower with twin panels, creating a clean, open feel and making it incredibly easy to access and maintain. This was paired with a luxurious rain shower complemented by an additional handheld option for versatility.
To maximise storage and ease of cleaning, we incorporated a recessed niche. For a contemporary touch, the client opted for matt black tapware, which contrasts beautifully against the sleek 1200 x 600 porcelain tiles. These large tiles not only look sophisticated but also reduce the number of grout lines, making them easier to clean.
The LED rear-lit mirrors add a practical yet elegant touch, providing excellent lighting without harsh glare. We also installed twin sinks, offering ample space for a busy household.
Ensuite
For the ensuite, we introduced a tiled entry wrap that blends seamlessly into the bathroom’s design. Heated towel rails provide that added comfort, making every shower or bath even more luxurious.
The ensuite mirrors the main bathroom with porcelain tiles (1200 x 600) and twin vanities. The showpiece of this space is the round spa bath, complete with a built-in pump for added relaxation. We made sure to incorporate LED-lit niches in the shower and LED-lit vanities—ideal for low-light situations and late-night use without disturbing the entire household.
The Invisi toilet—with a full system built into the wall—gives the space a minimalistic look while freeing up floor space. We also integrated power points into the vanity, providing additional storage and ensuring the space is as functional as it is beautiful.
